When a disaster happens, it does not check state lines. A hurricane does not stop at the Florida border. A grid failure does not pause because the affected area is a remote island territory 3,000 miles from the mainland. And the contractors responding to it cannot either.
Rapid Emergency Deployment is one of the few emergency response contractors in the country that can rapidly deploy both temporary power and full disaster response staffing to all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and all US territories, including Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, Saipan, and Guam, within 21 hours of activation. And we do it while staying fully SCA and Davis-Bacon compliant on every single mission, no matter where the work is.
This is how we do it.
The Roster That Makes Nationwide Coverage Possible
Most staffing agencies build their bench after they win a contract. We build ours before disaster strikes.
Rapid Emergency Deployment maintains an active deployment roster of 500 plus workers spread across the continental United States and Puerto Rico. These are not people who filled out an online form once and never heard from us again. These are electricians, mechanics, heavy equipment operators, security personnel, logistics coordinators, and warehouse managers who have deployed with us before and are ready to go again when the call comes in.
This matters enormously for nationwide coverage. When a mission activates in Georgia, we are not starting a search for Georgia-based workers. When a mission activates in the US Virgin Islands, we are not figuring out island logistics for the first time. We have already done it. We have the people, the relationships, and the operational knowledge to move fast anywhere in the country.
For workers interested in joining our deployment roster, you can apply through our careers page. We are always building for the next mission.
Continental US Coverage
Across the continental United States, our coverage spans every region. We have deployed to:
Florida and the Southeast, including Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina for hurricane and storm recovery missions. The Southeast corridor is one of the most active regions for emergency response work given its hurricane exposure, and our team has extensive experience operating in this environment.
Louisiana and the Gulf Coast for storm recovery and emergency power missions. The Gulf region presents unique logistical challenges around flooding, infrastructure damage, and supply chain disruption. Our operations team knows how to navigate all of it.
The Northeast including New York and Massachusetts for major storm and grid recovery operations. Northeast deployments often involve dense urban environments, which require a different operational approach than rural or coastal missions.
Wherever a mission activates in the continental US, our operations team can have crews moving within hours of the call.
US Territories: Where Most Contractors Stop and We Do Not
This is where Rapid Emergency Deployment is genuinely different from the majority of emergency response contractors.
Deploying to a US territory is not the same as deploying to another state. It requires cargo logistics, air freight coordination, island supply chains, and in some cases customs documentation for equipment. It requires experience operating in environments where the infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed, where resupply takes longer, and where workers need to be fully self-sufficient for extended periods.
We have done it. Multiple times. In multiple territories.
Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is where our story begins. Following Hurricane Maria, Rapid Emergency Deployment assembled and deployed a team of more than 250 workers to the island for temporary power, generator maintenance, fueling operations, and logistics support. It was one of the largest and most complex deployments in our history and it set the standard for how we operate in remote and island environments.
Puerto Rico remains one of our most active deployment regions. Our bilingual team, with Spanish and English capability, is a significant operational advantage on the island where communication in both languages is essential.
US Virgin Islands
The USVI presents similar logistical challenges to Puerto Rico but with an even smaller and more isolated infrastructure footprint. We have deployed to the islands for storm recovery and emergency support operations and have the relationships and logistics experience to operate there effectively.
Saipan and Guam
Deploying to Saipan and Guam puts a contractor roughly 8,000 miles from the continental US. Most emergency contractors do not have the operational experience or the logistics infrastructure to operate that far from home base.
We do. We have deployed to both Saipan and Guam for emergency response missions and have the cargo, air freight, and on-island operational experience to execute in these environments. For prime contractors and government agencies needing coverage in the Pacific territories, we are one of the very few subcontractors with proven experience at this distance.
The Six Services We Bring Anywhere We Go
Regardless of location, whether that is a storm-hit Florida county or a remote Pacific island, Rapid Emergency Deployment brings the same six integrated services to every mission.
Emergency power and temporary power deployment. We deploy and maintain generators and temporary electrical infrastructure to restore power to critical facilities and operations.
Man camps and logistics. We establish and manage temporary workforce housing, food service, and operational support for deployed teams.
Security services. We provide credentialed security personnel for sites, government facilities, and disaster zones across all mission environments.
Warehouse management. We set up and run warehouse and distribution operations to manage equipment, supplies, and inventory during disaster response missions.
Storm recovery and disaster response. End to end disaster response management from immediate activation through sustained recovery operations.
Push to Talk communications. Our Cat-6 system provides encrypted, ruggedized communications across T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, and US Cellular, selecting the strongest available signal automatically. In environments where standard communications infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed, this capability is essential.
The ability to bring all six of these services to any location in the US and its territories, as a single integrated contractor, is what separates Rapid Emergency Deployment from companies that do one or two of these things in one or two places.
Compliance Everywhere We Go
Operating across 50 states and multiple territories means operating under different Wage Determinations, different state labor requirements, and different contract structures. Some contractors treat compliance as an afterthought. We treat it as a core operational requirement.
Every deployment, in every location, is executed with full SCA and Davis-Bacon Act compliance. Workers receive signed acknowledgment letters before deployment. Wage Determination codes are confirmed for each location and classification. Fringe benefits are documented as separate payroll line items. Timekeeping records are maintained independently regardless of what the client system captures.
We are a fully SCA and Davis-Bacon compliant disaster response staffing subcontractor for FEMA and Army Corps of Engineers missions, and we bring that compliance standard to every location we operate in.
Who We Work With
Our clients are prime contractors, contracting officers, and state emergency management agencies who need a subcontractor that can cover the full scope of a disaster response mission without assembling five different vendors to do it.
We are an Army Corps of Engineers partner and FEMA response contractor. We have worked in environments ranging from major hurricane recovery operations to military facility support missions. Our experience spans both federal and state level contracts.
If you are a prime contractor looking for a subcontractor with nationwide and territory-wide coverage, a proven deployment roster, six integrated service capabilities, and full compliance from day one, that is what we do.
